So, I was playing RDR with my Mom earlier today…
I think that she (we?) may have discovered the most awesome glitch ever!
Since this is already a YouTube post, I’d also like to share a video that some very talented people made as a tribute to Fallout 3. Thanks to Timothy Pape for forwarding this my way! (PS: NSFW and contains panties. =P)
Just to end this on a western note…
4:28 PM – Jalaman: You just need to update to SP2, looks like.
4:30 PM – Rachel: Thank you!
4:30 PM – Jalaman: Anyone would’ve done the same, ma’am.
4:31 PM – Rachel: If only more men were as gentile as you, sir!
4:31 PM – Jalaman: This is the part where I go crazy and run into her constantly to make her fall over
4:31 PM – Rachel: LMAO

Haha pretty funny! My first thought right at the beginning of the second video was, “Aaah don’t stand under there! Oh god I hope that horse didn’t drink too much…” Lololol. Also the carts that bounced on their own reminded me of those bouncy “pimpmobile” rides…crazy! And I thought I heard the Wilhelm Scream somewhere in there when one of the carts went soaring through the air and the guy went flying off to his demise. All in all, the whole thing was all pretty ridiculous! Congrats on discovering that silly glitch!
That Desert Story movie was pretty awesome, too… It was definitely entertaining, but I also think it sends a positive message for the support of women’s rights. I haven’t played Fallout 3 though so I don’t think I caught all the references. =/

My Mom said that the horse should have urinated on me. =P She’s so mean!!
Those “pimpmobile” rides are really popular among Hispanics here in California. They call them “lowriders” here and there are a lot of car shows devoted to showing off the hydraulics on those types of cars. I’ve never been too fond of them myself, but it is funny to see on a horsedrawn carriage!
“Thank you MTV for pimping my wagon!” *L*
That is the Wilhelm Scream that you hear at 1:43. What western would be complete without it?! =D
There are lots of Easter Eggs to appreciate in Desert Story if you are familiar with Fallout 3. The water being a valuable commodity, an airplane hangar turned living quarters, and the mannequins being scattered around everywhere. The mannequins in the video look identical to the mannequins that you find decorating Raider hideouts in the game (nasty folks like “Ma and Pa”).
I liked how the Vaultie was a good guy in this one too (freeing the girls). =) I was expecting him to be evil in the beginning since very few people seem to have played the game as a “hero of the wastes.”
The girl’s line at the end is priceless too. XD

Horses tend to be glitchy in videogames, especially Epona in the Zelda games. Maybe they’re just glitchy animals in general? LOL
You and your Mum should do a co-op ‘let’s play’ of RDR. =D
